  29. Apparently I am using a really ancient version of VMS kermit; in fact it
  30. is not even C-Kermit but kermit-32 3.3.117

  32. On the Unix side I have a recent verison C-Kermit_5A.

  34. I have been advised to download a more recent version for VMS from
  35. Columbia university so I'm going to do that and hopefully it should
  36. solve my problems.
